In the China Accreditation Test for Dentists (CATD), the College is qualified as an operational examination base.

A delegation consisting of experts from National Medical Examination Center visited the Affiliated Hospital of Stomatology the Affiliated No.1 Clinical Hospital, Guangxi Medical University on July 6~7, 2010 to evaluate the constructions of Practical Skill Examination & Supervisor Training Bases for National clinical dental Examination for Physicians’ Qualification. In the afternoon of July 6, a team of evaluation experts including Madam Liu Rong, assistant director of National Medical examination Center, Prof. Wang Jiade, director Han Li came to the Affiliated Hospital of Stomatology got debriefing about the construction of dental Practical Skill Examination & Supervisor Training Base from Prof. Chen Wenxia, vice director of the hospital. Accompanied by Prof. Zhou Nuo, vice president of Guangxi Medical University other leaders of the hospital, they then came to the base for the on-the-spot investigation appraisal. In the worksite they deeply investigated the items of security confidentiality of dental practical examinations, hardware facilities of the base. In the examination site they also supervised the exam-executing procedures. After finishing the investigation, the experts gave a high appraisal to the base construction, infrastructure facilities, base management examination execution of the hospital.

In the morning of July 7, 2010 Mr. Li Jianguo, director of National Medical Examination Center, Madam Liu Rong, all other evaluation experts, Mr. You Jianpeng, vice director of the Health Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Mr. Wei Bo, the general secretary of the CPC of Guangxi Medical University, Mr. Huang Guangwu, president of the university, Mr. Zhou Nuo, vice president of the university, other administrative leaders from two hospitals assisted at the ceremony of commending the two hospitals the titles of clinical dental Practical Skill Examination & Supervisor Training Bases, respectively. the directors of two hospitals accepted the commemorative plaques from director Mr. Li on behalf of their own hospitals on the ceremony. It is supposed that the certification of standardized dental Practical Skill Examination & Supervisor Training Base in the Affiliated Hospital of Stomatology of the university would further promote the standardization of dental operation techniques, the reform of dental education training, thus the prosperous development of dental health care.

The Affiliated Hospital of Stomatology began to establish the practical skill examination base in 1999 had been in charge of supervising dental practical skill examination of National Medical Examination in Guangxi since the enforcement of the Law of Qualificated Physician. In the past twelve years the hospital has been exploring the construction management of the base. the infrastructure facilities have been continuously consummated the base has been one of the best bases for national dental examination around China. According to the complete statistics, it has received total 14, 078 dental examiners since its establishment.
